Canadian National Institute for the Blind (CNIB)

Canadian Paraplegic Association
National organization and related provincial paraplegic associations whose mission is to assist persons with spinal cord injuries and other physical disabilities to achieve independence, self-reliance and full community participation. Website offers links to information and assistive equipment resources such as wheelchairs, lifts and computers, vehicles as well as resources for independent living.

War Amps
With a unique philosophy of “amputees helping amputees", the War Amps is a registered national charity providing a range of programs such as PlaySafe and DriveSafe and the CHAMP Program. CHAMP is unique in the world, offering comprehensive services to child amputees and their families, and includes providing financial assistance for artificial limbs and various recreational devices as well as emotional support through several programs.
